Indigenous Tribal Social Work Educators Association Meeting in Atlanta

Dr. Riley attended the national CSWE Conference in October for the sole purpose of meeting with Indigenous and tribal scholars from around the country. A small room with extensive discussions surrounding social work education, projects, and ideas that support a longtime movement of protecting our People. Dr. Riley is an enrolled member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe of New Mexico. She has worked in the field of social work for over 23 years and is currently the Director of the Native American Social Work Studies Institute. Her passion is working with people and teaching and learning new things.
